Toulouse CVB wishes to use the GDS-Index to map and recognise the many actions of its business tourism partners in terms of sustainable development. The city’s prioritization of sustainability for business tourism is increasingly evident. Guy Bigwood, Managing Director of the GDS-Index comments: “Toulouse has been taking great strides to become more sustainable, and we are delighted that they will be joining the GDS-Index community of 53 cities including Lyon, Bordeaux and Nantes. We are confident that their influence will encourage other French – and indeed – European urban destinations to collaborate on this journey that brings learning, development and progress to all”.
